Dude I don't know where you live but all the fags around here will listen to is that ****ing RAP!

I mean..l ook I understand a few rap tunes or whatever.. but my god after awhile those people are just NEGATIVE! Does it not make you depressed to hear them speak the praises of wealth when THE MAJORITY OF US CANNOT HAVE ALL THAT CRAP.

Rock tunes are about REGULAR PEOPLE usually doing REGULAR THINGS, not bitches hoes and your does.

****in' A man
I really can't even do it.. I can't stand it

Every party I go to.. it's all rap blasting

everyone loves it.. everyone smiles..

HOW DO YOU MANAGE TO GET BOMBED WITHOUT LISTENIN TO A GUITAR SOLO! TELL ME IN THE NAME OF GOD HOW!

Instead of playing music, you should get a pony and a magician. Who doesn't enjoy pony rides and magic on their birthday.

Cake is always good at a party (both the item and the band!)
Old School Stevie Wonder always gets some asses shaking.
Black Rebel Motorcycle club works well
The Pink Floyd record More, does very well as it's rather upbeat but mellow

haha dude..I was being serious. This is the sort of music I'd play at my own party (If I had enough friends to have a party). Happy music sounds bad to my ears. I'd have slow emotional type songs on all night. But to be honest this time, for the poster.

AC/DC is amazing music for a party, as well as maybe the Mothership album by Led Zep. Classic rock always goes well. Daft punk makes my ears bleed though, sorry..
#24
Play some good rap and hip hop to get the women dancing, maybe some classic rock that everyone knows the words to.

Jesus there are some bad suggestions here.. try some indie electro- Midnight Juggernauts, Cut Copy, the Rapture, Hot Chip, Chromeo (this'll get people dancing), and some laid back hip hop like Jurassic 5, the Fugees. Metal is the anti-moist-va-jay-jay.
