Would you spend it on this???

I just think even for an old les paul it seems a tad overpriced.

It's not even a buy it now price...

I could buy a good-sized house with that amount of cash. Unless I were a billionaire I wouldn't even start to think about buying it.

I have seen them go for a lot more than that, £250,000 I'm always looking at these guitars.

And YES I WOULD! buy one if I had the cash.

hell no!
like the guy above me said, u could buy a house for that price. You can get another guitar for a hell lot less. It might still be expensive, but not as much as that

edit: what im tryin to say, is that i care more about tone and playability than if its a collector item. So yeah, unless ur some billionare guitar collecter, its a fucin waste of money

Oranges are actually a revolution though - they're the next step from Rectos IMO.

Is he nuts? I've seen mint ORIGINAL, FIRST YEAR, GOLD TOPS go for only around $90k.
#12
You could do so much more with that kind of money, and get a Les Paul that will sound a hell of a lot like that one for under £3000 anyway.
#14
Hahaha, that guy is deluded. A 1960 Les Paul is not worth that. My mate got to play a '54 Custom. Basically, a prototype. That sort of thing is still the sensible side of 100 thousand pound. The 1960 isn't worth anything near that, try more like 10-20 thousand.

No he was saying he wouldnt even get it if he was a billionaire, I was making the point that you would only have to be a millionaire for money to be worthless and a guitar like that seem like a good buy...
