I'm running my guitar through a Line6 Floor Pod XT. I was wondering if I could just run that to a cabinet for gigs, without using a head. I use my Floor Pod for all my effects/distortian, pretty much everything. You can connect FLoor Pods right to PA's and run it through that too, but I thought that would look pretty lame on stage. So it is a good idea to use a cab without a head?

Thanks.

You'll have to run it into a Mixer I think. The pod straight into a cab wouldn't work I think.
But, i'm not super educated on digital stuff.

welllll a cab doesnt add any volume to your signal as it has no power, its just where the sound comes out...also it colours your tone which is something the pod will do (speaker simulation) so it probably wont sound right

Also i dont think it would make any sound because from what i know it is only a pre-amp. It has no power amp, or just a small power amp which is why you can plu headphones into it. It wont amplify the signal enough for a cabinet
