I posted this article at 4:30 am my time and I didn't get much help, so I'm re-posting it:

Here's a list of the pedals I have and I need to know which order they should go in:

1. Boss TU-2
2. Boss NS-2
3. BBE Green Screamer
4. BBE Sonic Stomp
5. MXR EVH Flanger *Don't Use (but still want to know where it should go)*

I've been playing for about 2 years but I've only just recently started to employ pedals to my chain, mainly because I had a Line 6 Spider III head. I now have a Soldano Avenger 100w, and it has no built in FX or an FX loop.

I first tried this order:

1. Boss TU-2
2. BBE Green Screamer
3. Boss NS-2
4. BBE Sonic Stomp

The problem is is that the noise gate doesn't work in this spot (gate never becomes active), and it seemed when I switched places with the Green Screamer and the NS-2
it created a strange hum.

The fact is is that I haven't ran this set up through the Soldano yet. I've been running it through my Vox AD30VT.

I'd really appreciate it if my fellow musicians out there can help me through with this issue.

im not sure but doesnt the NS-2 need to be in first position?

Edit: lol didn't see the only thing in front of it was the tuner

Noise Gate always goes last unless you have a delay pedal.
Tuner First.
Flanger after distortion.
I know now what I knew then, but I didn't know then what I know now

The NS-2 has a loop. If you want to eliminate noise from the pedals then put the pedals inside the NS-2's loop.

I think the Spider has an amp noise gate built in but probably not that effective.
