I just got new strings yesertday strung them up and then seemed fine but the bridge is leaning WAY into the strings. The end of the bridge is like 3/4 of an inch off of the body. Im not sure why they are so tight when they are suposed to be in tune (yes i know they have to be streched) but this never happened with my last set either...

I beleive there can be something wrong with the springs that hold your bridge.

As I understand this is how your bridge looks like right now.(your actual bridge will differ but the idea is the same0

its your springs, open the panel on the back and check if any are broken or worn, just replace or add more springs to take on the strain of the strings!
