I'm getting ready to throw in some new tubes on my Mark IV. I know the tubes need replaced cause it just isn't sounding nearly as good as it should. I'm going to go with the two 6L6 and two EL34 combo. My question is this:
If I had to pick to either replace the power tubes or the preamp tubes, which one would make the most difference in the sound? Thanks

I wanna know what some blues sounding chords I could use in the key of D Aeolian fifth mode of Melodic Minor.

try looking for Cm, or any of those complicated jazz chords

no man, preamp tubes are the tubes that are going to most influence the sound unless you play CRANKED and start to get power tube saturation.

As far as i know the only liquor that should not be stored after opened is wine, and even then it's mainly the french one. American wine usually has conservatives in it to stop this.

Ok thanks. So more than likely I should just replace the power tubes?
