If I wanted to buy a new neck for my RG, where could I find one and how much are they?
#2
Ibanez maybe? Ebay? Warmoth?

Probably around 100-200 bucks.

Why would you want a new neck for an RG ?
The wizards are great!
Gear:
Orange tiny terror
ENGL 2x12 cab
PRS Singlecut
MXR GT OD

Maybe his warped, but yeah i think the Wizard II may be cheaper than a Wizard.

Make sure you get one with the same bolt pattern. The wizard II's are generally not the same as the Wizards..

Wizard II - Has two long and two short screws and have a different hole pattern
Wizard I - Standard strat style

Eh? No. Only RGs from 1991 and earlier had the strat style neck joint. After that, all their necks (Wizard, Superwizard, Wizard II, and Wizard Prestige) have had the AANJ neck joint. One notable exception is the RG550 20th, which is pretty much a reissue, so it has the strat-style joint.

Its a different neck profile. The Wizard II is fatter.
