I found two videos demonstrating the Boss SD-1 and the Ibanez Tubescreamer 808. I am trying to decide between which overdrive pedal to buy. Also I may buy the TS9 because of true bypass and its cheaper. IMO I can hardley tell the difference in tones between the two pedals, but on the videos the Boss sounds a bit better, more bluesy too me (plus I shows that you can get some heavier crunchy sounds out of it also).

Boss SD-1:

Ibanez:

Which pedal too get?

Why don't you just get a TS7 and mod it to TS808 specs?

I've searched and can't find any instructions on how to do that. Plus I love the green color of the TS9/TS808.

I think the 808 doesn't have TB either.

Look into the Maxon OD-9.

I have checked the Maxon but its way to expensive. I have a budget of $100. So no TS808 either. The Boss is only $40 I think?
