All it done was make a fool out of itself.

#3

It didn't give me a number at the end. It just told me to "think clear" again.

#4

It's simple math.

#5

u were supposed to click the little dude again on the corner Sabbath89

oor just wait till it showed you

It's simple math.

explain it.

(cuz its extra credit for math, i need extra credit, im failing )

#7

This thread will now be about wolves. Wolves howl sometimes. Your turn.

#8

What do wolves have to do with pianos?

#9

it worked for me.

and i dont know how it does it.

all these other guys are just bad a math.

#10

that's pretty cool. it's just a math trick. there's this one with like twenty steps of dividing and subtracting and crap, and in the end you always end with zero.

I like grey wolves.

#12

It never told me my number, just said "think clear"

The secret is in the digits you put in for your subtraction answer with a digit removed.

Do a couple dozen and if you are astute enough you will see a pattern begin to emerge.

I don't mean on the website. Right them down. look at what you have. There is a definite pattern if you look for it. I may show you the answer later but go look for it yourself first. It's much more satisfying when you turn your own light bulb on.

Ya it did. The kid on the right is holding it in the middle of his chest.

#15

My number was 123 and it gave me 6 at the end....

9 was not the number.

#17

Tigers > wolves

#18

My number was 123 and it gave me 6 at the end....

I started with 123. My finaly answer was 1 but it gave me 8.

#19

ive been tryin, havent found a pattern yet..

Ok I figured out somewhat of a pattern: (I've tried it 3 times only so far)

original number: 713

jumbled number: 317

subtracted: 396

I chose: 9 - what's left? 3 and 6; 3+6=9

original number: 123

jumbled number: 321

subtracted: 198

I chose: 1 - what's left? 9 and 8; 9-8=1

original number: 5398

jumbled number: 3859

subtracted: 1539

I chose: 3 - what's left? 1, 5 and 9; 1+5=6, 9-6=3

So, according to the last example: you take the leftover digits and - im still figuring out the rule for this - but after a certain order of operations you get the number you chose. Am I right? (Jackal58)

Edit: This one's being a bitch:

original number: 719

jumbled number: 917

subtracted: 522

I chose: 2 - what's left? 5 and 2; ???

Double Edit: Here's another fugly one:

original number: 132

jumbled number: 123

subtracted: 9

I chose: 9 - what's left? 0; ???

Has anyone figured this out yet or am I gonna have to try even harder?

Spoiler Edit: If anyone's still wondering how this works: http://britton.disted.camosun.bc.ca/jbfido.htm
