Like if you pile up all the songs that they have with absolutely kickass, amazing intros it'll be as tall as a mountain. You can't say that with too many bands.

They made some amazing intros, but not nearly as many as GnR made.

SO if Janne and Alexi did a gay porn, would I be the only one willing to buy it?

That's a dumb question, you know everyone in here would buy it too. I know I would!

Neutral Milk Hotel's intros > GNR's intros.

Ummmmmmmm...no Neutral Milk Hotel < everyone else

Led Zeppelin's riffs/songs are better but I'd set them equal in the intro department...especially if it's a percentage thing (really only 3 full albums - no GN'R Lies - vs. 8 - no Coda)
Gibson Les Paul Classic
Traynor YCV 50 Custom Blue

GNR was good but its fair to say that most of their songs arent memorable for the intros...

Some songs with great intros
Kiss- Black Diamond(Live) or Rock Bottom
Rod Stewart-Maggie May
Tesla-Love Song
Zeppelin-Achilles Last Stand
Ted: [Whispering to Bill] Your stepmom is cute.
Bill: Shut up, Ted.
Ted: Remember when she was a senior and we were freshmen?
Bill: Shut up, Ted!

As a whole, you shouldn't be listening to Guns 'n' Roses if your house doesn't have wheels.

That's Metallica. You shouldn't be listening to Guns N Roses if you don't drive an 87 Firebird and wear a denim jacket.

Yeah, write to my fanclub about it, honey.

I'm not trolling. I'm just saying that Guns N Roses fans are under the impression that Reagan is still in office. And that acid washed jeans are relevant.

Lynyrd Skynyrd never said the "n word" in any of their songs.

Guns > Led Zeppelin.

Not sure if they're the best ever but I do love GnR

Most bands have nice intros. C'mon to judge a band by the intro only? That sucks. I mean I can write tons of kickass intros but leading to a crappy WHOLE song.

Anyone can. GnR = Nothing special, just hype in the 80s.
There were so many greater bands back then.

I figured I'd join in the internet fray and throw my opinion up for grabs.

Of course, it means I personally like Guns more than Led Zeppelin.

But as I said, if you like Zeppelin more, or Muse, Or RHCP; whatever does it for you: good for you.
