Which would be the best pedal TO RUN THROUGH A CLEAN CHANNEL for a Bowling for soup, Foo Fighters, Sum 41, Pop rock style sound? TO be really specific I want a pedal that can get the sound of

"pain for pleasure","Underclass Hero" "Fat Lip" - sum 41
"The Pretender" Foo fighters
"Punk Rock 101" - Bowling for soup
"out of control" Hoobastank

that sort of stuff...
I really, really like the sound of BFS's songs.

Proco Rat 2
Big Muff
DS-1
Metal Muff

are the ones I'd been looking at. Which would be the best? But please feel free to recommend me other pedals too! Thanks!

Well... it'll change everytime I gig because I will use the amp supplied at the gig(It is. Don't ask.). So I'll just use it with the clean channel on whichever amp I'm supplied with.

Roland Jazz Chorus-120 are the amp usally supplied though.

Good thing that you're supplied with good amps.
you MAY want to start getting your own amp around though, just a recommendation.
Anyways, i'm thinking the rat.
Stay away from the DS1 unless you plan on modding it.

^I dissaggree. For generic pop rock tones, a DS-1 is the most cost effective option anywere. Ger them on CL or Ebay for about $20.

the DS-2 is only a little more, and compared to the recent DS-1s, sounds a hell of a lot better.
