Long story short, my dad got into a fight with my grandma. He was drunk, which is why he lives with them, and why my mom split up with him. Well anyway, he knocks my grandma down, threatens my grandpa, and then storms out with my guitar back to the guitar center. Just becuase i didn't back him up. I tried to stay out of the fight, but that douchebag dragged me into it. On his way out, he stated that he had no family. He ended up sending the guitar back to me, but now it has a MASSIVE dent in the headstock....god yesterday was horrible.

Dude, no offense, but he sounds pretty worthless.

Does the damage to the axe affect playability? And what is the axe in question?

I like how people notice the guitar, but forget this
Hope everythings alright, and will work out.

Is it too early for "Owned . . . oh wait." jokes?

Dent in the headstock won't affect playability, will it?

You're probably better off without him, TBH.

As much as TS will be really pissed off at his Dad right now, that's probably not the best thing to say, he's still his Dad.

And yeah, drunk Dads are no fun, just try not to mention it and see if he apologises and/or it cools down.

But sorry to hear that, I hope your grandparents are okay.

Also you're off topic. This thread is about Reva eating snowmen.

It's a process, not an event.

Things he said when he was in a drunken rage may not be what he says now, have you talked to him since?
#28
How is that disowning you? He threatened to return your guitar, but he didn't.

Apparently not.

I'm really sorry to hear about what your dad did. I know it sucks to not have a real father figure, but hopefully you feel a lot better now that it's just you and your grandparents. How do they generally treat you?
Quote by J-Spoon
I did a forward roll into a backflip, caught the les paul and blasted out a face melting version of stairway to intimidate this mentally retarted kid on life support in a wheelchair that was trying to play it through an MG. What a loser.
