I cant figure it out. I know the notes on the fretboard somewhat, but I dont know how to apply them on the staff. Such as there are more than one of the same note on the staff. How do I know where to play? Any help?

Let's see...I can read sheet music with my sax, but so far haven't learned yet with the gutar (different hand eye coordination), anyways this image should help, C is in the space above the middle line in the staff and B is on the middle line. remember this acronym for the notes on the lines: Every Good Boy Deserves Fudge. For the spaces it is...ummm...I forget, just remember FACE.

Edit:pic too big

Edit2: acronyms start on the first line or immediately above.
