Hey there!
I wanted to buy an Ibanez TS9 recently but then i saw/heard/read that the TS7 was the same as the TS9 just with some extra stuff in it.
Is that true or to what extend can the TS7 reproduce the sound of the TS9?
Thanks in advance!

I own the TS9, but not the TS7, nor have I used a TS7 so I can't really comment fairly. However, the TS7 to me looks like a digital emulation of the TS9 circuit (hence the price difference)... It's almost a rule of thumb that a digital circuit won't have the same life as the analogue circuit. My advice would be to try both, and see which one you prefer.

Bah... Just mod the TS7.
Mine kills a stock TS9 any day, and I got it for the same price.

yeah, i saw in a thread a few days ago that by changing 2 resistors in the TS7 you basically have a TS-808.
