What would this chord progression sound like in a triplet format?

A, D, G, rest D,D,D, Rest G,G,G,

then repeat 4 times?

Now triples just 3 notes or chords in a messure like on the harmonica correct and can be transported to guitar?

it would sound like dududu dududu dududu rest dudududududu rest dudududududu

a triplet would be 1 note played three times in the space of one beat

A triplet is when three notes of a specific value fill the space that would otherwise be occupied by two notes of that value.

Couldn't you do the same with 3 chords? or wouldn't sound kind of screwy?

A D G
1 2 3 4

What are you asking? It sounds confused. Do you mean "triplet feel"?
That's swing and it means the downbeat is held a bit longer than the upbeat.

In 4/4 time straight eigths would be counted:

1 and 2 and 3 and 4 and

triplets:

1 and uh 2 and uh 3 and uh 4 and uh

Triplet Feel means an eighth note on the downbeat should be held about as long
as "1 and" and upbeat about as long as the "uh" in triplet timing.

A triplet is like playing three notes in the same space of time as you would play 1 note.

and Ive been messing with this triplet setin chords.

D with an F# above it D G A

so it would be like D G A, G D A, G D A and it has a Gorge of the jungle type sound to it and it actually sounds cool I wish I could record it on my acoustic guitar but All I have for recording gear is audio recorders LOL.

I'm still not sure what it is you're asking, but if you want to hear triplet feel, just
listen to any jazz. It's just about all triplet feel which is also called swing.

1/8 note triplets are generally just called "triplets" and that basically means 3 notes
per beat.

Ok I see what your saying I strum it once then I start on the root note of the triplets which isn't really a triplet after you explained it this way.

Thank you bro or a better explanation
