i was thinking about making a jazz bass. i was wondering whether it is possible to have your normal two jazz pickups and also have a precision pickup as well.also that the p pickup could be turned on and off with a switch so i can change the sound and make it different sort of like the fender aerodyne bass.

hope this isnt confusing

I would say its possible. You just need to figure out a wiring diagram. Wait Stu Hamm Urge II Bass is wired with 3 pickups. He had a p bass pickup between the jazz pickups. Maybe you can get some ideas from it
