Hi,
The whammy bar on my edge 3 has got somewhat loose in its hole. Is there anyway to fix this?

Could be worn plastic bushings...replace those and you should be good. I've also read that some guys remove the bushings then put nail polish in the grooves and put the bushings back on. This makes it for a wider and tighter feel. Hope that makes sense.

push the bar completely down(i mean dive all the way if you didn´t understand)
look at the side of the high e string from behind(from the fine tuners)
you should be able to see a small hole in which you can use a small allen key to turn it around clockwise to tighten the ber and counterclockwise to loosening it

Take the smalles allen wrench and hold down the bar all the way and there is a spot to tighten it in the shaft. hope that helps

Iv'e just seen a thread asking the exact same question, and it recomends wrapping electrical tape around the whammy bar.

I wrap it with thin rubber bands for a tighter feel

Use PTFE tape, its perfect. your local hadware store will have it and if you don't know what to look for just ask them and they'll know for sure.
