Okays this really isn't 100% about changing tuners but I have no idea what to call it. I'm trying to change my guitar's tuners, so when I take a tuner out, some round sort of metal piece stays on the front side of the headstock. I have no idea how to take it out.
Help anyone?

Well its the Ferrel that holds it in, you should be able to knock it out from the back of the headstock, its easy enough.

make sure you put them back in the didnt at my school when the techs rebuilt a squier and the tuners move and it always goes horibly out of tune

Yea, it's a jig made to press out the ferrules and to install them.

You probably can make one with sockets and a c clamp.
