I know but i am a huge Fender Fan (well not huuge but you know what i mean!)

Funny you said that because i tried an Epiphone Les Paul Standard out and i found it too heavy and it was hard to reach the upper frets.

The description is outdated.

Fender upgraded the Standard series a few years ago. They now have alder bodies. The website says poplar.

Both have 21 frets, though.

So they are 21 frets? but on the pic its 22?

well the picture definately shows 22 frets

however i would ask them, not uncommon for pictures to be inaccurate

the fender website also says 21 frets, and if i remember my MIM strat was 21 as well

The pic might be wrong. That happens some times. Strats all look similar apart from fine details like hardware. That on the pic is probably an older American HSS.

I am sure the Standard series strats have 21 frets.
Bold statement.

Yeah that's the wrong pic. The description says it has floyd and 21 frets and the picture has 22 frets and no floyd.

How much is it for a fender with a humbucker with 22 frets?

Wow, how odd. That model usually comes with 21 frets though. But then again I'm in the US. So fender may just be marketing a different version of that model in the U.K. (which somehow seems wrong to me )

If it's the standard Fat Strat, it should be like the standard (21 frets) but with a humbucker at the bridge.

No Fenders that i know of have 22 frets. Go to fender.com and it lists all their guitars, find one you like, and paste the name into some website like Musiciansfriend.
