anyone know a brand of amps that arent really expensive (100-200 dollars) that can make a fender sound a bit "metall-er" but yet still able to keep that bluesy sound? cuz i have a ****ty 10-watt right now (yea i know.. ) and its just really crappy so any help would be nice, thanks

uhhh the amp wont make the guitar sound like it has humbuckers... just sayin. Definitely invest in a new guitar if you want metal, THEN an amp. That's my two cents, up to you though.

False. You can play Metal on any axe. It's in the player and riffs, not the gear. Although gear may add to the Metal sound, it's still not the gear.

For example: Iron Maiden plays on Strats.
