Okay, I have no idea what kind of sweep this is because I know pretty much NO theory. But is it damaging to my playing to play it with this fingering?

-----------------15h19p15----------------
--------------17-----------17------------
-----------16-----------------16---------
--------17-----------------------17------
--15h19-----------------------------19---
-----------------------------------------
  1 4 2 1 2 1 4 1 2 1 2 4

I have kinda small hands and I can't get my ring finger across the middle fast enough to play those 17th fret notes, but I can do it fairly fast with this fingering. Is this bad or is it safe to continue practicing this way?

It won't hurt your playing, that's exactly how I would play it.

Oh. I just assumed that since I hit the 16th fret with my middle finger with that same shape but as a 3-string sweep, the whole thing should be like that.

Here's what I mean:

--19p15-------15--------------
-------17---17--------------------
---------16-----------------------
  4 1 3 2 3 1
