$100 is pretty low for a decent delay.

I'll stand by my #1 Echo as well. Yes, it's digital, but I can't think of any better for under $100. Up to two second delay and it'll seemingly go on forever.

That one looks mighty sexy, but seemingly nowhere has it that will ship it to the US without charging a ****load.

That would total to about 116 USD, and that's a little too expensive for me. I might wait for one to show up on eBay or something

I doubt you'll find one, as i believe these aren't exactly mass produced. But who knows...it might be total rubbish. I've never tried one, heard one or heard of one...but then again it could be amazing

I didn't like the demos of the #1 Echo at all, still sounded too digital. Are the DOD FX90 and FX96 units as ****ty as DODs usually are? They've got some pretty good reviews.

EDIT: I'm considering the FX90 due to this: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=zQRiEs2bAZU

Yeah, that's better, but I can get a DOD for about 50 USD where this would be at least double... I don't know, I'm not going to do anything on impulse.

#1 echo? really. pah, i'd sooner get a de-7 and save a lot of money in the process.

there are a lot of analog delays out there, and a lot of them use very very very similar circuitry, so get something cheap. just have a browse on ebay.
my name is matt. you can call me that if you like.

the new carbon copy delay by MXR is supposed to be a poor mans memory man. I dunno the price tho. I imagine its around 150.

I would look into a Carbon Copy. $149 from SweetWater. MXR makes some of the quietest, most natural sounding stuff out there. Another option is a Line 6 Echo Park, which while it is digital, has analog, digital, and tape simulation. It's got the most features of anything out there for the price. The downside is you need to use Line 6's own AC adapter (though I've used a Danolectro adapter with no issues) or it will be really noisy, and they are a bit hard to use.

+2 to the #1 Echo great digital delay I just bought one a while ago.

There's a short sound clip of it on my profile. It's pretty good if your on a budget...

how would the Carbon Copy, Electro-glide, or the DoS Delay compare to the Boss DD3?
