What is the best type of glue for adhering a plastic to bare wood (basswood).

I dont think wood glue is an option because it wont hold the plastic, and I'm not sure about slow/fast epoxy....

Ideas?

i'd say super glue. but thats a wild guess because i dont know what you're using it for, if there is a finish present, etc.

well currently theres no finish on the wood, just bare basswood from the supplier.

would it help if the wood was sealed? or would the epoxy or super glue bond better if it were bare.

the plastic is actually an acrylic sheet with a painted back (side which is to be glued)

CA (superglue) or epoxy will be fine.
