isn't this basically just a re-posted version of this?
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

^ It's not bad from what i've heard, supposedly the pedal sounds more like the older fuzz faces. However I wasn't too pleased with the new NYC Big Muff when I tried it.

A germanium fuzz face type of pedal should work well for Hendrix.

Clapton used a germanium fuzz face, Hendrix used a germanium fuzz face for Are You Experienced?, then switched to a silicon for the rest of his career. Roger Mayer was Hendrix's tech, and he makes fuzzboxes. The Classic Fuzz is a Hendrix-modded fuzz face, and the Axis Fuzz is the silicon fuzz Jimi used. I've got the Axis myself, and it oozes Hendrix. I'm also able to nail some of the germanium stuff, by going easy on the fuzz. It's all personal preference.

Check out the barber trifecta fuzz. Compared to the original ff 1968 version it really is nice sounding.

Meh, great pedal, but it's a little too fizzy IMO.

They're more expensive new. Lee's price is pretty damn good, I suggest you get that.

Check out the Roger Mayer Fuzz Face, classic sound of all the artists of that era. Plus, it looks like a friggin rocket.

Thats why he calls a sludge control so you can put in or take out as much bass as you want and the three different fuzz circuits really puts this pedal over the top. My other guitar player was in a Hendrix cover band and we compared gosh at least 15 fuzzes and this was the best.

Just don't buy the Nano Muff! If you want the Muff sound then get the USA Big Muff pi.

For fuzz, Roger Mayer pedals kick ass!

i got a neo fuzz yesterday and i think its amazing. when i compare it to my boss os2 i see how much better it is. its much more warm balanced. it is also ironially smoother despite the fact that its fuzz and the boss is distortion/overdrive.

only problem with the neo fuzz is it hasnt got masses of gain and doesnt like being put on top of a overdriven amp so much.
