I R happy with my second Epi (Don't ever get a g-310. it sucks meyor ass). Epi LP std FTW! Mine is a plain top, bought @ daddy's junky music (New England chain), for $399+tax.

Why? It's not a POS guitar.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

I like my Epi, but I want some more quality and better sounding guitar. It sounds so muddy, it's hard to get the tone I want when playing with distortion. Clean it sounds good, but it's not often I play without distortion. My brother has a MIM Strat and I like the sound of that much more, I think it sounds better even with distortion and it doesn't even have a humbucker!

I like the fact that it weighs more than a Strat, i like the solid feel of it. When I play standing I have the guitar almost down to my knees (almost) and if you play a Strat like that it feels uncomfartable and you look so damn odd. I like LP:s much more than Strats.

Why does a Gibby LP Standard cost so damn much!? I want one! But for know I have my Epi.

I payed 200 bucks for my Epiphone Les Paul Junior. I love the feel and sound that it makes compared to the other guitars in it's price range. The reason it cost that much is because guitars here are ridiculously overpriced. (Fenders start at 700 bucks)

That's a kids guitar and it's the cheapest one available. I bet the mexican ones are about 1000.

I love the SG 66 reissue I have. the neck needed some work, but after a tech put some work into it and I installed DiMarzio's the thing sings and plays just as well as any Gibson SG off the wall.

I have 2 Epis: a Les Paul Junior and a Les Paul Custom.

I have a soft spot for the Junior cos, even though it's right at the bottom end of the line, it sounds great for what I use it for (punk/rock n' roll songs).

My Les Paul Custom is simply amazing, I'm happy I decided to go for that over a Standard. It suits what I do with my band (alternative/goth-type stuff) perfectly. I love it.

i just played my friends epi lp classic...

it is extremely nice...

felt pretty quick for a lp, and the tone was great through a vintage fender super reverb...
