i need to get more life out of my strings. i already stretch them but aparently boiling them helps em bend and tune , so how do you so it?

Only works with coiled strings, usually only bassists do it because their strings are so expensive

Besides, guitar strings only cost £3! Don't tell me you can't be bothered to spend £3 just for strings! -.-

I've heard this one mentioned a few times before and the answer is always the same....just buy some new bloody ones!

Just because Ed Van Halen did it doesn't mean it'll work for anyone else. After all, you're not changing strings twice a day, and employing a personal guitar tech....
