What would be a good, not too pricy amp for rock/metal but also have a clean, bluesy tone?

Fender 25r frontman is pretty good, not tube but still has a nice bluesy feel and can do rock and metal pretty good.

Edit: only cost me around 140$ with shipping and everything.

G-400 alpine white (signed by Coheed & Cambria)
ESP MF-207

no. These are worse than MG's or Spider III's. They do NOT sound good, and are badly made.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

Mine sounds pretty good but I don't know I've only been playing for a year so I could be a bit tone deaf. But it's an ok practice amp

Well, I have the 15 version, it sucks ass compared to my Valvestate, which is basically a slightly better MG series. The valvestate is also more reliable in comparison, not to mention it's made in england.
