What is "E7M/A"? Do you mean "Emaj7/A"?
Someones knowledge of guitar companies spelling determines what amps you can own. Really smart people can own things like Framus because they sound like they might be spelled with a "y" but they aren't.

D add9 sounds good in there the way I'm playing it. How are you playing the E6 and B sus4?

That sounds like quite a nice progression, but I think it would be nice playing the B sus4 for half a bar followed by B maj (or B add9 if you want to leave the high E ringing) for half a bar, assuming that you were playing each chord for 1 bar.

Edit; that's not actually a D add9, it's an A sus2 but it sounds good.

I don't have my guitar handy, but I thought that a Cmaj7 might work as a chromatic passing chord. Play it like this between the E6 and Bsus4:

D -5-
A -3-
