You're an idiot. The reason it's cheaper is because of the lower import taxes and whatnot. In India, a relatively cheap ibanez that would cost $500 max costs $750.

I remember when I was really young, I had a wet dream in which i was being dragged along an urban countryside by a pickup truck.

Don't ask me I have no idea how the hell it happened.

hey psychedelico, your absolutely correct.
A regular guitar such as a Ibanez RG370 costs bout $500 odd here(which is pretty screwed up). The duties are pretty stiff down here..
Anyways, if anyone knows any reliable stores, lemme know.
Cheers

Just keep your head on your shoulders. When I was in China, there were genuine guitars mixed in with copy guitars. One tell you can find is the price. Right off the bat, if the price of one Les Paul is half of the one next to it, which do you think is the copy?

Look for drips in the finish, blank truss rod covers, shoddy pickups, cheap hardware, and an odd headstock.
Sincerely, Chad.

There are many guitar stores in shopping malls in Bangkok. There is one in Siam Paragon it's called "Music Collection". They have a lot of branches mostly in shopping malls such as "Central". They only sell Washburns and Parkers though.

But guitarists in Thailand tend to buy their gears at "Werng Nakhornkasem". It's like this neighborhood, where they sell mechanical supplies and they have this area all selling guitars and they are all official dealers and distributors. PM me for the addresses and phone number of the shops. I bought my Schecter C-1 Elite there and it's the real deal. They give discounts too, about almost 10 percent.
