no switch on the epicaster, just the volumes for each one.
the less electronics there are the better, for this one atleast.

how does a master kill switch work?
i thought id need two seperate ones, thanks for the quick reply

Well, if you search in this forum, you can find a "Ultimate Killswitch Thread". You can find out more about killswitches there.

If you're looking to minimize electronics...Go buy a three way selector for a pickup switch. Seriously. Not hard at all to wire, and you can roll down the volume of one pickup, and use the selector as a killswitch by flipping between the two. Tom Morello does that. I do that.

oh i think i see

so have the 3way switch wired to go between one or the other and have one with nothing?
is that what your saying?
because id still want to have a position with the two of them going at once

Straight volume volume? Kind of weird, since both pickups will always be on...
Consider a blend control + master volume setup.

Just wire them to the jack's "tip" connection. Ground all the ground wires to one of the volume pot casings, wire the other pot's casing to ground, and from this common ground point, solder a wire going to the jack's "sleeve" connection.
