I have a Schecter c-1 hellrasier and Line 6 POD XT Live.

I don't think I need to many tones, as the effects processor can take care of those.

Any suggestions? Preferably a combo amp, $500-$1200.

I play metal and rock. Thanks.

what do you want from the amp?? Do you want it to have all the gain for playing metal/rock or are you gonna use the POD for yr distortion??? if you want to use the amp for yr main sound while using the pod for effects then a used XXX or 5150 combo would be pretty good, if yr just gonna use it at home and maybe afew times jaming or not giging alot then a bugera combo would be good, BTW those are all TUBe amps.....if you can find one a used Laney VC50 combo would be killer.

the Bugera amps are SUPPOSEDLY supposed to be really great amps for rock and metal, i can't say from expierence as i've never played one but there's alot of ppl here on UG saying the 6262 and 333XL are just as good as their respected counterparts the 6505+ and the peavey JSX, there a brand new company just trying to get started and there offering 120watt all tube amps at great prices so if they sound as good as ppl are saying and they turn out to be indestructible like peaveys s**t, it could be a really great buy.......i'm actually sort of in the same boat as you i'm thinking of getting a 6262 333XL or a V3.....hell just do a little research read some reviews and if possible try some of the amps outs and buy something, if you don't like it you can always return it (that's my plan) i play modern hard rock/metal deftones, seether, drowning pool lamb of god alice in chains BLS godsmack pantera etc... probly something along the lines of what you play. as soon as some more bugera's come in i'm going to buy a 333XL head just because of all the hype i really wanna hear what they can do, and i'll be able to give a more indepth review, if it sucks i'll send it back and get a 6262 if that sux i'll get a v3 and if that also sucks then i'm just gonna have to be like everyone else and grab a dual rec. haha if you play hard rock you can never go wrong with a dual rec. or any rec. for that matter

hmm i would say the Marshall 2203KK but you'd a more flexible amp than that so the regular JCM800 or the JCM900.
