Price limit is £500, preferbly below £450. I play everything, but rarely really high gain stuff. I will be buying pedels as well.

-Laney VC30 – 212 - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/vc30-212/378

-Orange Tiny Terror/ 1x12 cab -

-Marshall DSL401 - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/marshall-dsl401/283

-Sound City SC – 40C - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/74131

-Vox AC15 – CC1 - http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/vox-ac15---cc1/69345 (is this a valve amp??? It says somthing about solid state???)

These any good? What one would you says the best? Pros and cons of each? I'm veering towards the laney or the sound city.

I will try each one out before buying though.

yeah the AC15 is tube.

I have the tiny terror, and it's incredible. Watch Rob Chappers' youtube vids for really good demos. That's what I'd recommend anyways.
I hev no first hand experience with the Sound City. They're pretty new products. Of the rest, I'd say the Laney is easily the best bang for your buck. If you're gigging, you'll want the extra power in the Laney or SC over the Tiny Terror or AC15 as well.
You Don't Need a halfstack.

Off topic, but Rob Chappers made me lol with his videos.

Back on topic... I'm interested in that Vox AC15 and the Laney VC15 or VC30. I'd like to hear some opinions of each as well.

I get naked FOR my dog.
I love the Voxes, the AC15 sounds the way to go imo
Fender MIA Stratocaster (Sunburst)
MI Audio Crunch Box
Yahama FG730S
The AC15 is overpriced and inferior to it's big brother. If you're not going for the AC30, I'd get something other than Vox.

/\ I agree with that. I'd take a vox ac 30 over the ac15X (speaker upgraded ac15). Then just switch the ac 30's standard speaker for a celestion g12h30. It won't be an alnico, but it'll be damn good and a lot louder than the 15x
