ahhh thats nice atleast someone has an amp worth having here lol.

but instead of a bluesbreaker why not try a Tubescreamer or something along those lines.

but the bluesbreaker would probably work fine for what you want

Mayer uses a keeley katana boost and a (most likely modified) tubescreamer.

A bluesbreaker is going to be too rough for a mayer tone.

Out of all the original Marshall pedals, the Drive Master is my favorite. It's a lot smoother than the Bluesbreaker and the Guv'nor. See if you can find one.

Ok last question on this link Mayer plays Belief don't worry about that. The solo has some good distortion, but when he play the outro solo it's like so heavy like nothing i have ever heard before. I kno its his two rock amps being cranked, but i want something that could get my close to that.

Here's the link:

Mayer and Clapton used Bluesbreaker amps, not pedals. Nothing beats the amp for getting that tone but if you don't have thousands of $$$ to spare I'd get the pedal.

At least you have a good amp though.....

Oh, and a Tubescreamer or Marshall Guv'nor would be good to look into as well.

I have a BJ so im not going to get another amp. But it doesn't have to be a Bluesbreaker pedal, but i just really want that fat tone that he had when his amp was cranked.

Johnny uses a Keeley-modded TS808 and a Keeley-modded Boss BD-2 (this one I'm not a 100% on) . . . a TS808 would probably do the trick

They didn't use that pedal, the pedal is trying to mimick the bluesbreaker's od, and it won't be too close.

The Keeley modded BD-2 is amazing. If you've got the money, go for that over the Marshall BB-2. Even a stock Blues Driver is better than the BB-2.
