What electric guitar do you choooooooose for $1500 or less. And yes I know I don't NEED to spend that much.

....are you kidding me...... 1500!

Dude you can buy anything you want like!

Go with a high end Dean or Jackson

USA Dave Mustaine
VMNT Limited

Michael Angelo Batio
HWS Signature

USA Time Capsule
Caddy

Vendetta 4 Floyd

Pro Series RR5 Rhoads

Pro Series RR3 Rhoads

All great guitars.Don't go with a Gibson or Fender, they are overused and are not unique guitars anymore IMO.

what's the price for a gibby es335 in USD?

I'd get that.

Don't bother.. get one of the high-end Ibanez hollowbodies, like an AS93. They're much better for the price.

And TS, get a nice amp with some of that money!

You should get a washburn HB30. The best ES335 guitar period and its not expensive.

you haven't told us anything useful yet

1500 what? US Dollars? Swiss Franks? Yen? Barbados dollars? Pesos? Pounds? Canadian Dollars? Indian Rupees?

What styles do you play? no one will recommend a '52 tele reissue for metal, but its a great guitar under $1500usd

right now, this thread is useless

What kind of amp are you using?

The $ sign indicates it's US dollars smart guy and I left out what styles I play because I wanted people's first answer. What is useless was your response.

Jackson Soloist? I think you can get an SL2h or an SL1 for that much or a little ($200-300) more. Great guitars, if you can't get the US made soloists, get the SL3. It's from the pro series and has 2 Hot rails and a JB, in place of 2 singles and a JB.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
