What are some songs that keep you going on days when you wake up and think "What's the point? Why are we here?" or when you just want to blow your brains against the wall?

I'm in need of some right now.

It depends on what method of endurance I want to try. There's the happy music about life, there's the angry music that's about resisting all odds, there's catharsis, all sorts of stuff.

Personally,

Trains - Porcupine Tree
the aforementioned Hollow Years - Dream Theater (live at Budokan)
Number of the Beast, Powerslave, The Trooper, Can I Play With Madness - Iron Maiden
I'm Alive - Disturbed
the intro to About to Crash (Reprise) - Dream Theater

oh, and any Children of Bodom

for me, I can hang on just so long as I'm listening to or playing music constantly.

Rather than worrying about what song to listen to, Id have a think about the multitude of people waking up with me...

I did a forward roll into a backflip, caught the les paul and blasted out a face melting version of stairway to intimidate this mentally retarted kid on life support in a wheelchair that was trying to play it through an MG. What a loser.
