I know this has been asked before, but I searched and it wasn't on the first two pages.

I understand that a bass amp is not the best thing to play an electric guitar through in terms of tone, blah blah blah blah buy an electric guitar, I know the story.

Here is my question: will any damage be caused to my Ibanez Soundwave 100 if I play my Telecaster through it from now until Saturday, when I can get a Vox amp?

I know the tone will not be good, I know it will probably sound more like bass than a guitar. I know it will sound like crap probably. I want to know if it is safe for my amp.

K thanks.

Yes it is fine. Bass through a guitar amp is bad, and that is only really dangerous to the speaker.
