Old news, but horrible still.
The decline of humanity as we know it is just so much fun to watch.
We've drained full confession booths, polluted drinking wells with our repentances, and then stood grinning with our arms around the shoulder of a rotting child.

If you resist change, you will be here forever.

"Spellman confessed to police but defense lawyer Bobby Hoof says the statement was coerced and that he was just trying to protect the child's mother."

Those lawyers...
Imagine trying to defend this guy in court...

Think of that, an entire life destroyed and wasted because of a broken Xbox.

Makes me sick.

I'd prefer it if a big muscly guy with a penchant for arse banditry was waiting for him in his cell.

people in prison are not kind to people like this man. generally the main population of a prison will look down on pedophiles, and people who kill their parents or children.
cant say i envy this guys future, or that i would change it.
actually, i think 25 years in solitary might be a better punishment than a few weeks of rape and eventual shanking. this guy deserves to spend a long time thinking about what he did.

maybe some occasional rape.

comedy should have no limitations. as long as you can view something as funny or ironic or whatever, but not really laugh at the victims or people involved, then joking about something that is very serious, like this case or like the persecution of a particular race, etc, is okay. it just depends where you draw the line.
