i have the eminence legends in my 2x12, and i use a carvin v3. i mostly do use high gain and play metal and it works and sounds good to me

Personally I prefer the Legend v128's for metal/hard rock. The 1258's are a bit more classic voiced and have quite a dip in the frequency response curve.

Texas Heat's sound REALLY good with an overdriven amp pushing through it.... it's like...cream in pants good.
