My xbox 360 is refusing to connect to my apartment's internet, it fails the IP diagnostic test. I don't want to go to management just yet because they are poor excuses for human beings.

Anyone know how to fix such an issue?

I'm trying to run it wired, straight through the modem, so WEP is no issue (until I have to spend $100 on the thing).

create a network bridge. Should work, but you need your comp on at the time. Hook up a network cable between your PC and 360.

I'll give this a try, thanks.

It's not like there is a better choice at the moment, is there? Don't turn this into a console war!

Update: The bridge is working, but my Xbox is still not connecting correctly. My friend mentioned that I might need a crossover ethernet cable, but I thought that was built into everything nowadays?
