So that if I log out you have to type in the pw to log back in? My uncle keeps using my computer (despite having his own perfectly fast computer) and it's kinda pissing me off. Don't really want him on there without asking...

Control Panel > User Accounts > Password from there.

I'm assuming you use Windows XP or Vista.

Start > control panel > user accounts and family setup > user accounts > change your windows password

If you have no password, then going to change it will give you one.

If you right mouse click so that you go on properties you can set it so that on the resume (When you move the mouse to get rid of the screen saver) it will show the welcome screen (You'll have to type in the password).

Little to no point doing this, they can just start the computer in safe mode or some bollocks and a password will do dick all against that. I should know, few months ago Goatse was my desktop background.

Yep, admin passwords are easy to take off. He could make a BIOS password though
