i'm just wondering if it might be time to change the 2 "mesa"-labeled ax127 tubes in my V-Twin. i assume they're the originals cuz they are labeled "mesa". i bought it used. don't know anything about its history (how old, how many hours of use). i tried tapping them with a chop stick and they didn't produce any noise, but i'm wondering if this thing would give an even BETTER tone with new tubes.

One thing is if your loosing alot of gain. Its a slow drop so its hard to notice and you woudlnt really notice since you purchased used... I say change them its worth the 30 bucks to make sure your getting the best tone out of them.

so when ordering, do you do the optional $2, or $4 add-ons? or just get the basic?
