I'm getting my practice in on my artificial harmonics, and I was looking for some lessons or youtube vids that explain different ways of using your picking hand.
I prefer to finger pick rather than use a plectrum.

Basically the way I do it now is to use my index finger to mute and my thumb to pick but my thumb is closer to the nut than my index finger. The underside of my thumb's knuckle (the knuckle closest to the nail) touches the outside of the same knuckle on my index finger and I kind of use them together like a tool. When playing the harmonics they make a pinching motion with my thumb going down and my index finger coming up, pretty much bending them at the knuckles that meet.

I like my way, I just need to practice, but are there any other ways? Any other more standard or easier ways that I could try out?

Thanks!
