i wanted to know.
can i buy a cab.
and hook it up to a modeling amp?

so the smaller amp is like the head and the cab is a regular cab?
that clear?

You can if the modeling amp has a power-amp output that you can jack the cab into, also...why would you want to get a cab and make a modeling half-stack?

if the modeling amp has a speaker out you can. Just make sure the ohms match. But if you wanna be smart just save up a little more money... Modeling amps are good but only for practice, if you want something louder I suggest saving for a good tube amp.
