I have an Ibanez S520Ex and I wanted to get a Case for it. Ibanez makes a hardcase for it but it's kinda expensive in my opinion for being just a case. But I really like it cuz it pretty much hugs the guitar unlike other general cases.

So just a quick question, would the guitar be any less safe in a normal hardshell case (Ones without the mold but just a standard big square section for the body) than in an Ibanez Case made for the guitar?

Probably only if you plan on really throwing the thing around. If it would fit in a standard rectangular Strat case I assume you'd be fine. The only time I'd really be picky about a foam-fitted case was if I was checking it as luggage on a plane or something

What kind of case would you recommend? I guess some reviews I've read pretty much say that Ibanez Cases are garbage. Haha.
