Has anyone ever gotten a serviceable tone out of this thing?
I bet Charlie Brown's teacher's name was Mrs.Hammett

I thought it was ok, but side by side with a ts9 or a bbe green screamer it sounded pretty thin and lost all of my amps original clarity.

BBE Green Screamer all the way!!!

It just seems to be "too hot"....

no matter if the pickups are active or passive...

I had one.
I thought it was just plain rubbish.
I'm a big Zakk Wylde fan, but this pedal sucked some serious ass.
So I went and got a Digitech Bad Monkey.
Not a half bad pedal

I tried one out a while ago and had the same problem. Just seems like a market ploy sort of thing. 'omg zakk overdrives omg i bet it sounds liek him now'

I don't much about Wylde (only that he shreds insanely and pinches every 2nd or 3rd note each bar), but does he use it himself?
Gear
Good Guitars
Good Pedals
Good Amps

That is all.
