Hey, I made a post before, but have a few more questions about amps I have looked at.

I like RHCP, Muse, Radiohead, the strokes, classic rock, acoustic stuff, punk rock, and pop. I'd like an amp that is fairly versatile but a "metal" amp isn't needed.

From what I can tell, Fender amps are good for cleans, but not so much for OD. I want a bit of both, so that's why I stayed away.

The Roland Cube 30 /60 looked great, but it seems more like a practice amp, not sure if I should go tubes or not.

Finally I looked at the Vox AD30VT. I heard it had "dark" cleans, but other than that it is pretty good. Am I missing something here? Most amps seem to be good at cleans, but bad at OD, or vice versa.

I am looking for a great versitile, good -bang for back intermediate amp. I have played guitar for about 5 years, and will mostly be playing in a room, but want some power.

Cheers

A lot of pros do that: if they play a wrong note, they'll hit it again to make it look as if it's intentional. It's called "jazz", aparently.

Edit: Pointless suggestion removed.

Sorry, this is Australian dollars. Prices are screwed here so I might have to import. Let's just make it 500 US dollars. I can stretch a bit.
