Now thats funny.....

Alas I'm not as cruel as you guys.

What sort of music do you like to play TS?

ignore them tdogg. the MG series is garbage you'll find out VERY quickly.

Vavle king would be a good choice if you want affordable tube tone. but i think you could get a Randall RG or somethin (tube hybrid) if you're more on the metal side. let us know ur favorite styles to play bro

Please don't tell me I'm the only one that clicked this thread thinking I would learn how to make my guitar sound like a grizzly bear.

wait for the Blackheart Handsome Devil to come out here in April? i think. it's 15 watts. should get plenty loud for occasional jamming and is BEAUTIFUL rock tone. prolly be perfect for ur likes (which are pretty much like mine *high five) seeing as the blackheart has more of a tube marshall voice and those bands are notorious for their Marshall amps!

You cant come in here saying "i want a good amp opinions plz". Thats like going into a dealership and saying "I want an automobile". Price range? Gig or no gig?

Will you be gigging with it or are you looking for something for the garage/bedroom?

A Roland Cube would fit perfectly for your style in music (metallica) and they come in various sizes depending on your need and price range.

blackheart 5 watt combo or halfstack, up to you. combo is like $270 so it's only a $30 difference btw the two!!

you'd love it, get an overdrive pedal for it and you can get a great thrash sound.

If by "clean" you mean "get a finger right up in there and do a good bit of spelunking" then i guess "at any given opportunity" is my answer.
