i was thinking about going into the Music Buisness for a carerr path
as working for a record company recording artists

i really don't know much about tyeh music industry

im already interested in Berklee College of music but i have a few questions.

at Berklee they offer the Music Business/Management Major and they offer the Music Production and Engineering Major
i was wondering which would be better for a job in the music business

my other question is if there is any job security in the music industry.
will i have a job at a record company in 10 or 20 years?
and is there good money working for a record company?

thanks

my parents work at our local uni and they said that the music industry management program is one of the most popular majors, so hopefully I can get in to that program over here.

i dunno, but you have to think there will always be music, and there will always be the need for someone to record it, but yeah i'd liek a solid answer also

i would say music engineering, because with the recline of record companies you won't be able to do much with a music business degree, but they'll always need engineers and technicians.
