They have a plug, yes. Plugs go into walls. Preferably powered by some sort of electrical current.

The amp that you linked to plugs into the wall. There are some little practice amps that run on batteries though, and they should have an optional A/C adapter.

Get a real amp like Traynor combo amps. And yes they do need to be plugged into the wall.
