What's the difference between latching and non latching footswithces? I want to get one for my roland cube 60 and im look at boss footswitches, but you can get latching and non latching. whats the difference, and what would you reccommend??

Latching work like a normal effects pedal would. Stomp on it once and release foot: the pedal is on. Stomp again: the pedal is off. Non latching (sometimes called "momentary") switches turn "on" as long as your foot is on the switch itself. Kindof like a gas pedal on a car; it doesn't do anything unless your foot is on it.

Latching is probably what you want.
